  • Usability Testing
  • Design

Personas

My user research revealed that DPR Offroad's consumers fell into the categories: the truck enthusiast, the offroader, and the truck traditionalist. The direction and infrastructure of the site was influenced by each of the created personas.

Sitemap

For creating the site map I broke down the levels of importance and figured out how I wanted to structure the site. With the sitemap in place I now had an understading of where each page will be located within the site.

Wireframing & Prototyping

From the sitemap I then moved on to creating wireframes. Using Balsamiq, I created the low fidelity wireframes with annotations to lay down the blueprint of the site. Included were annotations for the stakeholder to understand each element of the site and how it will function.

Design

In the final design I made sure to utilize key elements that exemplifies the rugged aspects of the industry, yet maintaining the high-end luxury feel. I kept the design very clean to match the simple usability and user experience.
